The PAW Patrol pups are preparing for a busy summer as they head to the big screen and launch new interactive experiences for fans. With the upcoming release of PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie on August 5, the rescue team is bringing prehistoric fun to two major UK destinations.
Dino Hunt Trail at Westfield White City
Families can participate in a free Dino Hunt Trail at Westfield White City on August 1 and 2. Young explorers will receive a booklet at Hamleys to begin their journey, searching for clues hidden across various stores including The Works, Vue, Primark, and The Entertainer. By uncovering a hidden letter at each stop, participants can solve a mystery word to enter for a chance to win an exclusive prize bundle. Additionally, fans can meet their favorite characters at Hamleys on both days between 12pm and 4.30pm.
The dino-sized adventure will kick off at Hamleys, where every explorer will get kitted out with their very own PAW Patrol booklet. From there, it’s paws to the paw prints! Trailblazers will follow their map and the tracks store by store, uncovering a hidden letter at every stop as they build towards a top-secret code.
After collecting every letter and uncovering the mystery word, explorers can head to Whippersnapperkids.com/dinohunt and submit their code for the chance to win an exclusive, money-can’t-buy prize bundle worthy of Adventure Bay’s biggest heroes. Be sure to collect your special sticker at the start of the trail before your adventure begins.
To celebrate the Dino Hunt Trail, your favourite PAW Patrol characters will visit Hamleys Westfield over the weekend of August 1 & 2 to greet adventurers. Visitors can meet their favourite pups and take photos with them on the hour, for half an hour, between 12pm and 4.30pm both days, before the pups leap onto the big screen nationwide on August 5.
World of PAW Patrol at Chessington
Beyond the temporary trail, the pups have established a permanent home at Chessington World of Adventures. The newly opened World of PAW Patrol is a 1.4-acre land featuring a full-scale replica of the iconic Lookout Tower. The area includes four themed rides, such as Chase’s Mountain Mission and Zuma’s Hovercraft Adventure, which is the UK’s first drifter ride. Access to this new area is included with a standard park ticket, allowing visitors to explore the themed land alongside the resort’s existing zoo and aquarium attractions.
About the New Film
Directed by Cal Brunker, the upcoming film follows the pups after they crash land on a tropical island inhabited by dinosaurs. The team must team up with a local expert named Rex to stop Mayor Humdinger from causing a volcanic eruption through reckless mining. The voice cast features Mckenna Grace, Terry Crews, and Jennifer Hudson, among others. The film is rated U and serves as the centerpiece for this summer’s pup-themed festivities.
