The latest comedy from director David Wain, Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass, has officially arrived in theaters. The story centers on Gail Daughtry, played by Zoey Deutch, who decides to even the scales by pursuing her own celebrity pass, Jon Hamm. Her quest leads her through the heart of Hollywood alongside a colorful cast of characters, including a talent agency assistant, a paparazzo, and actor John Slattery, all while being pursued by a group of Italian assassins.
Wain, known for his work on projects like Wet Hot American Summer and Role Models, co-wrote the screenplay with Ken Marino. The film made its rounds on the festival circuit earlier this year, earning official selections at both the 2026 Sundance Film Festival and the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival.
