After many years of development the new Highlander film finally moves forward. Director Chad Stahelski, known for the John Wick series, released the first on‑set pictures on Henry Cavill’s Instagram. The images show the actor walking through ancient Scottish locations while wearing a long coat and a sword.
Henry Cavill Leads the Cast
Henry Cavill steps into the role of Connor MacLeod, a medieval Scottish warrior who learns he is an immortal fighter. Cavill appears confident and focused in each frame. He stands in holy sites that belong to different faiths, adding a mysterious tone to the shoot.
Supporting Actors Join the Adventure
Russell Crowe plays a swordsman named Ramirez who helps Connor on his quest.
