The long awaited partnership between Fortnite and The Simpsons launches on Saturday. Players dive into Springfield Island for a fast paced Battle Royale experience. The map supports 80 player matches and invites fans to explore familiar locations like Krusty Burger, the Kwik‑E‑Mart, and the nuclear power plant.
Each week in November the game adds fresh gameplay twists. The Springfield Battle Pass brings outfits such as Homer, Marge and Ned Flanders. It also introduces Simpsons versions of Fortnite characters like Blinky Fishstick and Springfielder Peely. Fans can unlock alternate looks like Evil Homer and Witch Marge during the Treehouse of Horror events.
Weekly Shorts and Map Updates
Four original Simpsons shorts will premiere on Fortnite each week, starting on November 1. The episodes act as previews for the week’s map changes and story beats. The titles are Apocalypse D’oh, Sugar High, Multiplidiocy and The Incredible Bulk. Players can watch the shorts on Fortnite’s social channels, the quests tab under animated shorts, and on Disney+.
These short films keep the experience fresh and give players a reason to log in daily. They also tie into the larger narrative of the collaboration, blending the humor of The Simpsons with the competitive spirit of Fortnite.
Sidekicks, Challenges and Cross Platform Fun
The battle pass also introduces the first of Fortnite’s Sidekicks. Peels appears as an exclusive companion in the Springfield battle pass and remains available until more sidekicks arrive on November 7.
Outside of Fortnite, the Rocket League x The Simpsons limited time event adds extra challenges. Players drive around Springfield to earn items such as the Blinky Topper, Homer’s Hedges Player Banner and Waste Wheels. Each unlimited challenge rewards 20,000 XP, encouraging players to keep playing.
Disney and Epic Games Partnership
The Simpsons owner Disney invested 1.5 billion in Epic Games last year. That deal paves the way for a shared universe that could include Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, Avatar and more. The collaboration runs on Epic Games’ Unreal Engine, delivering high quality visuals and smooth gameplay.
Fans of both franchises have a lot to celebrate. The event brings iconic Springfield locations into a battle ready world, while offering exclusive cosmetics and story content. Whether you are a Fortnite veteran or a Simpsons fan, this season promises excitement and new rewards.
Stay tuned for weekly updates, new sidekicks and surprise crossovers. The Fortnite Simpsons collaboration is set to redefine how game and TV worlds can merge for a month of nonstop fun.
