Sol Ruca on WWE Speed’s Future
In a candid interview with Ten Count Media, Sol Ruca explained why she remains the WWE Speed champion even after the show’s last episode aired on July 9. She also shared her thoughts about the next steps for the Speed brand and how her title could appear on other WWE shows.
Double Champion Confusion
Ruca, who defended the Women’s Speed Championship against Alba Fyre, said she still holds the title. She added, “I am still a double champion until I hear otherwise.” This statement keeps fans guessing about the show’s future.

WWE Speed launched in April 2024 on the social network X, formerly Twitter, in partnership with WWE. The show quickly gained popularity, featuring stars like Ricochet, Andrade, Dragon Lee, and El Grande Americano. Sol Ruca became the second woman to win the Women’s Speed title after defeating Candice LeRae on April 16.
Potential NXT Cross‑Over
Ruca hinted that the Speed championship might appear on NXT. She said, “Maybe we’ll start doing stuff on NXT with it. I was wearing it on NXT, which before wasn’t allowed.” This move could bring more attention to the Speed brand.
While WWE has not announced a new season, Ruca remains optimistic. She said, “We’re trying to figure out what we want to do with it.” Fans should stay tuned for updates from WWE’s social channels and official announcements.
Sol Ruca’s confidence shows she is ready to defend her titles wherever they appear. Whether on X, NXT, or another WWE platform, the champion is determined to keep the Speed brand alive.
