Paul Walker might be in the District B13 remake

If you’re an action movie fan and have yet to take a look at District 13, do yourself a favor and take a look right now. The movie was propelled by the Parkour action scenes and quickly made a splash when it was introduced. These days it’s increasingly popular for American’s to remake fairly recent movies and this one being no exception and today we learn that the Fast and Furious star may partake in the adventure.

Paul Walker has entered negotiations to join the cast of the remake, which will be titled Brick Mansions and relocated to a city in the States (probably Chicago).
But the news isn’t all bad! Also on board is David Belle, who starred in the original and its sequel but will be playing a different character here. Plus, the script comes from Luc Besson, who co-wrote the original, and Robert Mark Kamen, who collaborated with Besson on Taken.

I’m not completely sold on the title but I do have hope with them including people involved with the original. Hopefully they can deliver that same impact that made the original so succesful and deliver a quality movie.

I like Walker in the Fast franchise but haven’t really seen his career take off the way I expected and hope that this movie could be a favorable outing for him. It’s on the radar but it’s capability to remain there has yet to be tested.
