I love assassin movies. I even remember liking the 1995 Stallone/Banderas, Assassins flick. (Actually, some nifty sequences for that movie were filmed down here in Puerto Rico). But moving along. There’s this little indie film that I’ve been following along on the internet called The American. George Clooney stars as an aging assassin hiding in Italy, preparing for he’s last mission ever. I’m really excited about it. I love movies like this.

Nice, up until the part where the voice that sends shivers down every womans’ body goes “George Clooney is… American”. Totally unnecessary. Gave the whole trailer a dumb feel to it in the end.
This looks really awesome. George Clooney has really blown up in the last few years. It still makes me wonder to this day how an actor with as much potential as himself could have ever signed on for one of the worst movies ever made (Batman & Robin in case your wondering).
