On August 3rd comes the much-anticipated DVD release of Kick-Ass. For those of you who had missed, or decided not to watch the film here is a brief explanation of the plot. A high school teen and avid comic book reader named Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson) asks his friends why there are no people trying to be superhero’s in real life? With the amount of comic book fans in the world you would think at some point someone would of dressed up in a funny outfit and jumped off a building or tried to fight crime by now. After asking this he then decides he should be the one to carry out this ridiculous plan, which quickly places him in a hospital bed with severe nerve damage. Which turns out to be a pretty Kick-Ass super power, which he uses to team up with Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage) and Hit Girl (Chloe Moretz) to end the crime on the streets lead by Mob Boss Frank D’Amico (Mark Strong).
