Total Film Magazine will have a special Star Trek issue dedicated to the release of Star Trek will have 4 different covers and we get our first look at them here:

The cover images come alongside a still from the movie depicting the antagonist Nero “on screen” which will also be featured in one of the articles.

And remember the “Star Trek Experience” attraction in the Vegas that closed due to drastic decline in admissions combined with a breakdown in negotiations with their property managers at the Vegas Hilton? Well SciFi Wire confirms that the attraction will reopen at the nearby Neonopolis Mall in Downtown Las Vegas on May 8, 2009 just in time for the release of the new film. The attraction will feature old classic draws as well as new retail shop and restaurant inspired by the rebooted franchise.

  1. Just meet eric bana back stage ( on rove,tv show-you tube it.) he’s on for one more, but he play’s the bad guy, so make what you will from that.

  2. Romulans need to be awesome in this movie! They are practically the greatest enemy the Federation has had outside of The Dominion. To bad they have never had their day in the light.

    1. Romulans were scheming political opponents, not the greatest enemy of the Federation.

Klingons were the greatest enemy until they saw way to peace. A race built on the philosphy of glorious death in combat and can suggest that today might be a good day to die over their cheerios is a greater threat than any Romulan.

The ONLY way the Federation could defeat the Klingons was to offer them membership.

  3. Loving the ‘onscreen’ look – it appears they did indeed go with the idea of an actual window on the front of the Bridge, and layered a HUD over the top of it. I approve.
