Hey kids… remember back in the day when Arnold and Sylvester were box office kings? Ice Cream Sandwiches where $0.40 and Eddie Murphy used to be funny. What the hell happened to Eddie Murphy? He still gives us the odd jewel now and again (Bowfinger), and he’s not bad as an animation voice actor… but what is far more common for Murphy these days are the Pluto Nashes, the I Spys, the Haunted Mansions and the Dolittles. What a waist of a one time comic genius.
Well it doesn’t look like things are getter much better. Murphy’s new project is Norbit. What is Norbit? It’s another “been there done that” comedy that has the sad luck of also having Thandie Newton (uggg) and Cuba Gooding Jr (who should write a book called “How to ruin your career after winning an Oscar”). The good folks over at Cinema Confidential give us this synopsis:
The movie tells of a shy man (Murphy) who is forced to marry a monstrous woman (also Murphy), only to meet the woman of his dreams (Newton).
Oh good grief… wasn’t this called “The Nutty Professor” or something? Will someone please smack Eddie in the head and tell him to get back to what made him so great!!!! This is just getting painful!

I am seeking of singular personalities of the world. Mainly of those people who live like otsiders by questions of own desición or because the powers ingnoran them premeditamente. I look for wisdom, basing my work on the fact that the WISE PEOPLE NEVER WERE RECOGNIZED BY THEIR CONTEMPORARIES. I if, I am a contemporary that I want to find and to recognize them now because they, the WISE PEOPLE NEED to HIM To the WORLD. In the 2004 I received a hundred of small periodic originating of Trujuí, Good Air, Argentina. There I knew the great wise person of world modern RODOLFO GARAVAGNO. I read its brilliant sentences, its poems, its narrations and single I saw light in all those works. The following year I traveled to Buenos Aires to know the wise person personally. It seems a worldly man. He has caabello very long, he dresses well and even he exerts special attractive in women jovenes (he is 52 years old). As man of world has but of 200 recorded songs. All of them with great exito of sales. I have seen people dancing the amused songs of the genius. He is now also film director and filama his pelicula without money. The single wise person lives on meager rights of author and a pension that the union of Argentine Composers gives him. He is father of two hermozos adolescent children, Martin of 20 years, composer, and Paula, actríz and film director. Magic around the genius is breathed. She is a lover of Hollywood and member of preservacionistas organizations. NOBODY CONSTRUCTS A BETTER WORLD LIKE. But in his country it does not have the place that is deserved. I wish all these Actors and Comedians would stop dressing up and getting acting jobs to portray women on a regular basis (e.g. Martin Lawrence, Tyler Perry, Wayan Brothers,etc.) as well as Mr. Murphy. It is so easy to get a cheap joke that way and it is starting to get played out in my opinion.
They need to do some real comedy. Plus, it does make one start to question these guys sexuality that they play women so well especially w/this DL thing going on. If I was a hetero man, I would be trying to do roles that reinforced my masculinity due to the type societal climate we are in today. I look to men like Denzel, Sam Jackson, Morgan Freeman for male actors who really act like men. I don’t believe I can recall a role where they were acting like a female or gay. They both have flourishing careers. Someone check me if I’m wrong.

I’d rather see Eddie in a sex film with the trannie than have to watch him make these piece of shite films! He needs to get on broadway with a filthy dirty one man stand up comedy show … and follow it up with R18+ flick with a record breaking amount of times you can say ‘FUCK’ in a movie.
