Tom Hanks in Da Vinci Code photos

TomHanks-DaVinciCode.jpgOver at Coming Soon they have the first photos of Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon from the movie set of The Da Vinci Code. Check the link to see them full size.

Well, still doesn’t make me think of the character, although you can picture him as a professor, I just don’t think he feels like the character read. However, we’ve seen Hanks in some roles before that you could not picture him in before the movie, so we’ll have to go with it and see how it turns out. It’s not like Ron Howard doesn’t know what he’s doing is it?

What do you think? Good, bad, wait and see?

  1. I have read the “Rule of Four” written by Ian Caldwell & Dustin Thomason, which is somehow similar in plot with “Da Vinci Code”. I thought that was better written and can also be another good film project if they keep following the trend.

Rich, “Angels and Demons” was a better read until you reach the events leading to the end again, from there its just laughable.

  2. I have always contended that Robert Langdon’s character is not some special character that is very hard for an actor of Tom Hanks calibre to be able to portray. For one thing, Hanks being cast as Langdon will be very good for the film.

    Just my two pence.
