Hold the phone. Where the heck have I been? Apparently The Rock has been cast to play one of the funniest (IMHO) cartoon characters around. Johnny Bravo! This is pure perfection in casting. I seriously can’t think of another person who would be better for this role. When it comes to sporting pure attitude, The Rock is they guy.

Oh boy… this has the potential to be REALLY BAD. And yet at the same time the potential to be so funny. I’m excited.
Johnny Bravo is the MAN…what the hell is wrong with you haters up there. The Rock playing him is about as good as it gets…It will be good to have a goofball movie like this come out. And of course it is going to be stupid (in a good way) that is what it is meant to be. How can you not love the Llloooovveee Mmmaaacchhiinnnee!!! Everybody do the Monkey!!!!!!

Johnny Bravo – live action? The Rock as Johnny?
I totally enjoyed the cartoon, but I think the movie is a little late on the popular demand. Cartoon Network hardly shows the cartoon anymore. Scooby Doo (and all it’s versions) has more air time.
Well this has been rumored for about 5 years or so, from what I remember. I have no excitement for this project, mostly ’cause the show feels nothing like the original 1997 era cartoon network.
Why not market a much stronger property from the network’s library? Samurai Jack, anyone?
Oh and they changed the style of the PowerPuff Girls. Why? I loved 1998 era style! Changed? Why?
