20th Century Studios has officially released the trailer and poster for The Dog Stars, the latest project from visionary director Ridley Scott. The film is scheduled to open exclusively in theaters on August 28.
Based on the bestselling novel by Peter Heller, the story follows Hig, played by Jacob Elordi, a pilot living in a harsh post-apocalyptic world. Alongside a military survivalist named Bangley, portrayed by Josh Brolin, Hig maintains an isolated existence until a mysterious radio transmission prompts him to venture into the unknown in search of hope.
