Bianca Belair Faces Finger Surgery After WrestleMania Injury

Bianca Belair announced that she will undergo finger surgery on February 16. The WWE superstar shared the news on her social media accounts. Fans learned that the injury first appeared after her match at WrestleMania 41. The bout featured IYO SKY, Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley competing for the Women’s World Championship.

During the match Belair suffered a blow to her hand. At first doctors thought she had a broken finger. After further examination they discovered a broken knuckle. The broken knuckle makes recovery harder and requires surgery.

What the Surgery Means for WWE

The surgery will address the broken knuckle and help Belair regain full strength. She has not wrestled since the WrestleMania match, but she did appear on screen last year. Belair served as the special guest referee for the Naomi versus Jade Cargill feud at WWE Evolution. She also appeared in the crowd at the NXT Homecoming show at Full Sail University, where she began her WWE career almost ten years ago.

Belair expects a short hospital stay. She will follow a rehabilitation plan that includes physical therapy and hand exercises. The plan aims to reduce swelling, improve range of motion and prevent future injuries. WWE fans can look forward to her return once the doctors clear her.

How Fans Can Support Her Recovery

Fans can send positive messages on social media. Belair often reads comments from her followers. Sharing encouraging words can boost her morale during the healing process. In addition, fans can stay updated by following WrestleTalk on Threads. The site posts regular updates on WWE news and athlete injuries.

When Belair returns, she may target the Women’s World Championship again. Her determination and athleticism have made her a top contender in the division. The broken knuckle will be a challenge, but her work ethic suggests she will come back stronger.

The WWE community wishes Bianca Belair a smooth surgery and a quick recovery. We will continue to monitor her progress and share updates as they become available.
