The upcoming documentary Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger is officially heading to the 83rd Venice International Film Festival for its world premiere. The film, which chronicles the massive reunion tour of the legendary British band, offers an intimate look at the return of brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher to the stage.
Created by Steven Knight and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, the documentary provides unprecedented access to the band. Viewers can expect to see rehearsal footage, backstage moments, and the first joint interviews featuring the Gallagher brothers in over two decades. The project aims to capture the emotional scale of the Oasis Live 25 tour and its impact on fans globally.
A Global Release
Following its festival debut, the film is scheduled to open in select IMAX and standard cinemas on September 11. After the theatrical run, the documentary will be available to stream exclusively on Disney+ internationally, and on both Hulu and Disney+ in the United States later this year.
The production team behind the film includes producers Sam Bridger and Guy Heeley, with a technical crew featuring Oscar-winning sound mixers James Mather and Tarn Willers. The documentary is a Magna Studios production presented by Sony Music Vision.
