Disney Reveals First Trailer and Poster for Animated Adventure Hexed

Disney has officially pulled back the curtain on Hexed, the latest project from Walt Disney Animation Studios. The studio released the first trailer and poster for the film, which serves as the 65th animated feature in the studio’s storied history. The magical coming-of-age story is set to arrive exclusively in theaters on November 25, 2026.

The new footage introduces audiences to Billie, a teenager voiced by Hailee Steinfeld, and her mother Alice, voiced by Rashida Jones. After Billie accidentally triggers hidden magical abilities, she is transported from her suburban life into a realm known as Hexe. There, she encounters two unique characters: an enchanted quill pen named Ms. Quill, voiced by Tracey Ullman, and a magical journal named Elias Quire, voiced by Stephen Fry.

Expanding the Magical World

Directors Fawn Veerasunthorn and Jason Hand have emphasized that the film explores themes of self-discovery and feeling like an outsider. According to the studio, Billie’s journey into the wild, unhinged magic of Hexe allows her to uncover long-held family secrets that could reshape the world of witches forever. The project is produced by Roy Conli and Yvett Merino, with Josie Trinidad serving as co-director.

As the 65th feature from the studio, Hexed follows a long line of animation history that includes recent hits like Zootopia 2. Fans can get their first look at the animation style and the world of Hexe by watching the official trailer on YouTube.
