Duke Hudson Discusses Thea Hail’s Future Following Chase U Breakup

Former WWE star Duke Hudson recently opened up about his former Chase U teammate, Thea Hail. Following the dissolution of the popular faction in late 2024, Hudson expressed his belief that Hail has not yet received the opportunities she deserves within the company.

Reflecting on Chase U

Hudson, who departed the company alongside Andre Chase, Riley Osborne, and Ridge Holland, remains vocal about his support for Hail. During a recent appearance on the Between Two Jobs podcast, Hudson praised Hail for her passion and talent, while noting that she is currently the only remaining member of their former group still signed to the promotion.

While acknowledging that Hail has had moments in the spotlight, including a recent North American Championship win, Hudson argued that the company often uses her youth as a reason to delay her push. He contrasted this with other young talent on the roster who have received significant opportunities, suggesting that the decision to feature certain performers is a deliberate choice by management.

Advocating for Opportunity

Hudson emphasized that during their time together in NXT, Hail was consistently a standout performer. He recalled how the group often felt like they were supporting the Thea Hail show, highlighting her natural connection with the audience and her dedication to the craft.

The former stablemate expressed hope that the promotion will move past the narrative of waiting for the right time and instead provide Hail with the platform she has earned. He remains a firm believer in her potential, noting that he was always protective of her during their time in the ring together.

As Hail continues her journey as a solo competitor, Hudson’s comments highlight the ongoing conversation regarding talent development and the path to success for younger performers in the current wrestling landscape.
