Resident Evil is gearing up for its 5th installment in the film franchise and we’re getting word that a few more familiar faces will be returning to the franchise to join Jovovich and company.

Kodjoe tweeted that he will reprise his role for the upcoming installment, RESIDENT EVIL: RETRIBUTION
“Ok, Resident Evil fans,”
” [Milla Jovovich] and myself are up here in Toronto getting ready for RE5 More action than ever!!!”
Sienna Guillory will also reprise her role as Jill Valentine. Colin Salmon will return as well
I’m not sure what’s gonna be happening in the next film, as I’ve yet to watch the previous entry, but it seems like that most if not all of the major players from the series thus far are returning for… something. I’m not sure what it all means but one has to wonder how much longer this series will be sustainable and if Paul Anderson and company are gearing up for a finale.

How can Colin Salmon be coming back, didn’t he get sliced into a million pieces in the first movie??
Only thing I can imagine is that he is returning as some kind of byproduct of an Umbrella experiment.
Or maybe in a series of flashbacks? But more than likely it will be as some BOW. I’m crossing my fingers in hopes it will be the major BOW (AKA the “boss fight” at the end of the movie) like a new Tyrant model or something…)
