Justin Long poses as Waiter in NY Restaurant

Justin Long was eating in a restaurant recently in New York City, and on a whim decided to pose as a staff member and proceeded to help patrons for an hour posing as a waiter.

CinemaBlend shares:

A source tells E! News, “He just started picking up glasses, cleaning tables. One lady was asking him questions about the menu and he was just making up answers…His friends kept saying, ‘Make him work, give him a hard time.’ It went on for over an hour. He was really working. He’d come back in the kitchen, grabbing menus, filling waters, asking questions. The chef was laughing at him. Justin was totally cool.”

An HOUR.

This guy really knows how to stick a gag. I wonder just how many patrons of the restaurant recognized him, and how long the staff just figured they would “let” him keep going.

This is just one of the things that really makes me like Justin Long. He doesn’t take things too seriously, and he is a really humble and down to earth kind of guy.

To top it off, all the tips he received for his hard work, he left for the employees of the establishment.

I wish I could have been in that restaurant at that time!

    1. Why not? Obviously the employees of the restaurant got a kick out of it. If a regular Joe like myself or you tried doing something like that, we’d probalby get arrested. But I guess that’s one of the benifits of being a star.

    2. Like Rodney said, he is a down to earth guy and doesn’t let his fame get to him. It’s nice to see that he is not above everyone else and by giving the tips he made to the employees does show character. Really, how many celebrities or millionaires do you see actually doing grunt work and treat people with respect.

      1. actually, plenty of A list celebs are quite friendly, down to earth & pretty approachable (ex. Johnny Deep, George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Drew B, Anne H). Same can’t be said to D list or so called reality tv celebs though… unfortunately plenty of them are really annoying…
