Universal Pictures has set an April 6, 2012 release date for American Reunion, the fourth movie in the theatrical American Pie franchise.
That’s a long time from now. I mean, a really long time from now. I wonder what they may have planned that would require that much time. Is it a scheduling issue? Do they have to spend the proper amount of time developing better CGI special effects? I guess I better shut up and just be patient…

High School comedies do better in the Spring/Summer. The film will likely be finished by this summer but they will sit on it until a better time for release.
