TV Caprio joins Broadway Spider-Man Turn off the Dark

The idea of a Spider-Man Stage Musical was absurd enough but just crazy enough to work.

But with multiple injuries on set and a terrible review of the performance, it seemed unlikely it would be a success, but still they try. And now the lead villainess Arachne played by Natalie Mendoza is officially replaced by Across the Universe songstress T.V. Caprio.

T.V. Carpio will replace Natalie Mendoza as villainess Arachne in Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark, producer Michael Cohl has announced.
Mendoza dropped out of the troubled Broadway production last week — about a month after sustaining a concussion when a piece of equipment hit her on the head backstage.

And star injuries are the least of their problems as the production seems plagued with bad reviews, rewrites and suggestions that not even the musical genius of Bono and the Edge can save it.

But TV Carpio is a talented singer, so perhaps with hope the production will overcome its hardships in the long run.

  1. I’ve heard of good reviews but with acknowledgment that it was not yet complete. Would it be fairer to say mixed reviews? Good bad or just ok Kids will probably still love it. I will be seeing it the first chance I get.
