Demi Moore will play Miley Cyrus’ mom in an adaptation of the French film LOL (yes, derrived from the internet speak for laugh out loud) while Thomas Jane plays her dad, and the superhot Ashley Greene plays a rival highschooler.
As for the film itself, it will be directed by Liza Azuelos, who helmed the 2008 original, and will center on a teenage girl (Cyrus) who is dumped by her more experienced boyfriend while her divorce mother (Moore) struggles to move on with her life. Greene will play a high school bad girl, a departure from her Twilight character, while Jane will play Cyrus’ father.
I find it interesting that this adaptation of the French film will be directed by the same director. Many times people are discouraged when a film is translated to an American audience, but the original’s director will be behind this, so who knows.
I could see Demi as a mother figure, and Miley is growing on me as an actress (she’s not bad), but I would really hate to be the guy trying to date the daughter of the Punisher.
No matter what role Thomas Jane plays, he just has an edge of intimidation behind those eyes that I just can’t see past.
I can’t wait to see Ashley Greene as a Mean Girl though.

I think you can guess what I did last weekend?! Of course I have watched some movies. Last weekend I was in a pretty romantic mood (I think it’s because of the valentine’s hype) so I watched some real classics full of love, namely LOL, the lucky one and the worldwide bestseller the notebook.
So I curled up by the fire with a XL-bag crisps and I cried like a litte child when the two lovers had a hard time. I lived in a whole other dimension for a couple of hours: nobody could reach me. Even when my mother screamed: “Anouk, dinner!”, I sticked around the laptop and skipping a meal is very exceptional for me.
My identification with the leading actrice Lolo in LOL was very big because we have about the same age. Lolo is madely in love with her best friend and gosh, what is he handsome (I think that’s the only reason why I watched the entire movie ;) ).
So my weekend was absolutely great! :)
