I really do like Natalie Portman. She is a solid actor in just about everything I have seen her in. Except Revenge of the Sith. It was pretty clear she just didn’t want to be “that girl from Star Wars” anymore and was just fulfilling her contract. Man she was horrible in that.
Rumours have been flying about that despite her poor performance in Star Wars, Natalie Portman might be getting the role of Indiana Jones’ offspring in the fabled Indy 4 movie.
Folks have still been spreading the spurious declaration that Natalie Portman is playing Dr.Jones’s daughter in the next “Indiana” adventure.
Don’t believe me? Well, maybe you’ll believe George Lucas?
Captain Neckless spoke to IESB and was asked point-blank whether the spunky “Star Wars” star would be rejoining him on the forthcoming “Indiana Jones 4”.
“No. Absolutely not.”
Now we still don’t know who will play the role originally rumoured to belong to Spielberg’s golden child Shia LaBeouf, but it seems one thing is consistent. It appears there will be an heir.
This is going to sound completely sexist, but I am glad to hear Portman shot down for this role. Not because I think shes a bad actor, but it might mean that if there IS going to be a passing of the torch that it wont be to a daughter. At least so far. The Shia LaBeouf rumour wasn’t shot down, so by omission this is going to sound like it supports the rumour, but its still just a rumour.
Is anything at all in stone about this film? Oh my frail heart cannot handle such hardships.
Natalie and I will be on our honeymoon during the filming of the IJ’s movie, so that’s why she won’t be in it. :D
As for knocking her performance in V for Vendetta, how dare you!!! LOL. Seriously, that’s probably her best role in a while.

thank goodness…she is quite possibly one of the worst actresses working today.
