Universal Studios Hollywood has officially completed its 2026 Halloween Horror Nights line-up, bringing a fresh wave of terror to the theme park. The announcement confirms that the infamous Terror Tram will return with a sinister new host, Art the Clown, in an experience titled Terror Tram starring Art the Clown. This addition marks a major expansion for the event, which begins on Thursday, September 3, and runs on select nights through Sunday, November 1.
Art the Clown Takes Over the Backlot
In this new iteration of the park’s signature attraction, the demented killer Art the Clown arrives at the historic Universal backlot with a blood-soaked bag of presents. Realizing it is too early for Christmas, he hijacks the tram for his own twisted holiday celebration. The experience will feature original music from the metal band Ice Nine Kills, who have reimagined classic Christmas songs with a dark, horror-inspired twist. Guests should remain vigilant, as Art the Clown will also be lurking in unsuspecting areas throughout the theme park.
New Haunted Houses and Returning Favorites
The 2026 event also sees the return of the cult horror classic Killer Klowns from Outer Space, allowing guests to escape a group of murderous alien circus clowns. Original haunted houses joining the roster include Dead, Deader, Deadest, which explores an abandoned funeral home, and KILLceañera: Music by SLASH. The latter features an original score by Grammy Award-winning guitarist Slash, including an exclusive song titled 15 Candles. Additionally, the stunt show The Purge: Dangerous Waters returns to the WaterWorld venue.

Other zones include El Circo de la Muerte and Blood Bog. These experiences join previously announced attractions based on properties such as Stranger Things, Hellraiser, and the Evil Dead franchise.
