The next generation of the Mysterio family is preparing to step into the ring. Aalyah Mysterio is set to begin her in-ring career with WWE, according to her father, Rey Mysterio.
Following the successful career of her brother, Dominik Mysterio, fans have long speculated about whether Aalyah would pursue professional wrestling. During a recent appearance on The Undertaker’s Six Feet Under podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer provided a significant update on her status.
Training at the Performance Center
Rey Mysterio revealed that Aalyah has been testing her commitment to the sport through intensive training sessions. After initially training with her father last year, she completed a full-time two-week program at the Performance Center in Orlando earlier this year. The experience solidified her interest in pursuing the craft.
According to Rey, Aalyah is now preparing to head to the Performance Center to establish herself within the system. This move follows a period of dedication where she balanced the rigors of full-time training, proving her motivation to follow in her family’s footsteps.
Building a Legacy
The transition to the Performance Center marks a major step for Aalyah. While Dominik has already established himself as a prominent heel and multi-time champion on the main roster, Aalyah is now beginning her own path. Her father noted that her enthusiasm for the training process was unexpected but welcomed, as she looks to transition from training to a formal career in the ring.
