LG Electronics is teaming up with Prime Video to celebrate the streaming premiere of Masters of the Universe. The collaboration introduces new features for 2026 LG OLED evo TVs designed to enhance the home viewing experience for the live-action fantasy adventure directed by Travis Knight.
New Creator Original Picture Mode
Exclusively available on the 2026 LG OLED evo W6, G6, and C6 series, the new Creator Original Picture Mode allows studios to maintain greater control over picture settings. Unlike standard cinematic presets, this mode leverages specific parameters set by content creators, including shadow detail, color balance, noise reduction, and motion handling. The goal is to ensure the film’s visuals are reproduced with high accuracy on home displays.
Interactive Voice Features
The partnership also includes an interactive feature for the LG Magic Remote. Fans can access the film and related content by using the voice command, I have the power. This feature is available on LG Smart TVs running webOS 23 and later and supports multiple languages, including English, French, Spanish, Italian, and German.
These updates aim to bridge the gap between the franchise’s long-standing history and modern streaming technology.
