  1. Ya i dooon what ot say John i didnet find this movie very funny i think we might have weighted to long. One of the problems i foud with movie is they really just foced on the Simpsons them selves they didn’t really foces on any of the other catchers and one of thing i found so funny with this show. I think the move coud have bin better if they made the pot on all the chanters and not just the famley but i still foud the move funny just what what i though it was going to be.

  2. At last I watched it! God I can’t tell you how much I loved it.
    Favorite scene: Maggie breaking the bottle. Gangsta baby! Definitely one of the funniest films of the year, definitely one to remember for years to come. The whole cinema felt like one big family cos this is one movie that most of us watched through childhood and teen years.

  3. Not the funniest of the year, that honor still goes to Hot Fuzz. But it was alright. Pretty much what I expected from a movie based on a cartoon series, which means it wasn’t as good as it should have been. I did laugh a bunch at several moments and I liked the touching parts, but in the end, when I walked out, it only felt like it was as good as the tv episodes, and not movie better. Disappointed over all.

  4. funniest film of the year as far as I am concerned…..it is even better the second time around…
    fucking loved it…..
    so many good lines
    my two favourites

    “so for once the rich white guy has all the power hhmm”

    “maybe we should kiss – to break the tension”

    and I knew it would be big but it had the third biggest opening weekend of all time for animated features behind 2 of the shrek films…crazy……

  6. Yeah, totally agree with most of what u said. I think I found it a bit funnier than u might have, but that’s just me. The issue that I had with the film was that it’s emotional content and deeper character issues were both a blessing and a curse. See, they allowed for some honest moments and sympathy, but the problem was that SO many of these moments stemmed from Homer being an abnormally obnoxious jerk that, by the end, I felt distracted and still quite annoyed with him even as the film attempted to show him off as the hero. Other than that, even being an OBSESSIVE Simpsons fan, this movie left me quite satisfied and I wound up having a REALLY good time.

  7. I really loved this movie. I’ve watched the show since it startet airing on norwegian TV 15 years ago, and it has been my favorite show ever since. While i do agree the show has slowed down the last couple of years i don’t think its that bad. Going into the movie i my expectations was high. this movie was my most anticipated movie of the year, this was my Transformers. Did it dissappoint, absolutley not. The humor was great, the tender moments were perfect and it had some great action-sequenses. I would give this movie 10/10
