    J-Lo and Dallas – I totally agree with your comments. Jenny from the Block should be thrilled that ANYONE wants her in a movie. I enjoyed “The Cell” but not because of her.

    Miami Vice – John, you’re not the only one looking forward to this. I think it looks great and can’t wait to see it and, as much as I disslike Colin Farrell, I think he might be able to pull this role off really well – if he can hide the accent that is!

    And yes Marty, superman would indeed blow a hole through lois lane! In that conversation, it goes onto say that if superman were to put his end if Lois Lane’s axe wound, he would need to wear a Kryptonite condom … and that would kill him!?? Its impossible for Superman to get her up the Duff!!

  5. That kid is Superman’s…unfortunately, Superman is a daddy. And the by the way he wouldn’t develop his powers until he would be into his early teens. His cell need to time to absorb solar energy and harness the power…I know that souunds geeky but that is how it is explained in comics…and that is why his powesrs slowly developed in the show Smallville. I hope the movie is good, but so far from what I’ve seen, it doesn’t bode well.

  10. SUPERMAN: That’s Superman’s kid? I don’t buy it. Has anybody seen Mallrats? Superman defies gravity and deflects bullets with his skin, he would shoot his load into Lois Lane and blow a goddamn hole through her body.

    MIAMI VICE: Looks like it’s gonna be awesome. I’ve never seen the original TV show but Farrell and Foxx is movie gold. Throw in speedboats and helicopters and Michael Motherfucking Mann, who hasn’t made a bad movie for a very long time, and you’ll have the coolest film of all time. And the actual footage, the look of the film, is beautiful. If this movie was a city it’d be Las Vegas. With less old people.

  18. If it’s Supermans offspring won’t he have superpowers too? In the comics I remember Superman had a kid and it wore a cape and Superman top(this is back when comics were gay).

  19. Star Wars footage – what’s all the fuss and big news about, this footage has been on the net for a few years now. Perhaps it would be news if they were putting it into the OT DVD release!

    I don’t usually get this upset… but what you just said is such fucking bullshit!

    Oh yeah… Cause Chris Tucker is the ONLY black actor in the world. I wouldn’t have sneezed if they said Jamie Foxx was getting $25 million, or Denzel, or Terrence Howard… but not Chris Tucker.

    And oh yeah… maybe Carrey didn’t deserve to be #1 at the time either… but at least he had no less that 6 films in which he was the lead actor that all grossed over $100 million domestically. What the fuck has Tucker done in a lead role where he wasn’t riding Jackie Chan’s coat tails????

  23. I would just like to say, I was SO DAMN CLOSE to buying ‘X-Men: The Dark Pheonix Saga’! I want to read it before X3 comes out. Well, I’ll try tomorrow.

  24. John, this is what I think about the Chris Tucker thing….

    Maybe the studios initially wanted another guy to replace ‘The Tucker’, but those actors who were asked perhaps turned down the job because they didn’t want to be the person to replace Chris Tucker and everyone bitching about it. So the studios just caved in.

    What do you think? It just came to me when I got stoned.

  25. I remember when Jim Carrey was the highest paid actor a few years ago and no one had a problem with that…But god forbid a blackman becomes the highest paid in hollywood and everyone bitches. Oh well racism still is going strong.

    Jamie Foxx might be worth 25 million.
