…You do realise that Galadriel was immortal, right? She was thousands of years old in LOTR. When she was young, the Ring of Power hadn’t even been forged yet!!! Kate Blanchett would be perfectly capable of playing the role.

Well she certainly doesnt look like a hobbit to me.
I can totally see her as an elf.
Its been rumoured she might play a younger version of a LOTR character.
