In reply to Ryan. haha.. i have to agree with you. But i do enjoy the book though, it's a very lazy weekend reading that make me smile. I do not like the movie as much as the book, saying that, i would still watch it just because the storyline can make me smile on some parts.

I’ll never fully understand why so many women love these books and movies so much, as there’s not a single deep character in them, nothing ever really goes on and the only way there’s really four books here is because there’s about a 1000 pages of Bella telling Edward “I love you” and another 1000 of Edward telling Bella “I don’t deserve you.” Worst of all, it makes women into these worthless, helpless little things…

Yet, I guess the saying “to each their own” comes into play. /sigh

I just wouldn’t let any of my kids read the books, and not because of the (almost nonexistent) sex and (almost nonexistent) violence — but because it sets back women freaking decades and it creates characters that have no redeeming qualities and are entirely materialistic. I’d much rather them read about sex and violence…

I love the way they talk at the end instead of fighting. That was so awesome. Talk about a giant fight the final half of the book, and then never do it. That was just the epitome of this book series.

ok im confused..i saw on wikipedia that this won some childrens book awards? is this a tween book, or young adult, cuz passionate honeymoon love making doesnt sound like something in a kids book…neither does bone breaking childbirth, or baby eating…can anyone tell me why he eats the baby? is it revealed that ed is evil…like wtf?
