I enjoyed the movie, while they could have done a lot more with the story I feel that they were trying to build to something bigger and the bigger being the second movie, but they did pull in some heavy hitting stars. Like The Doctor - Christopher Eccleston and Marlon Wayans, Dennis Quaid and I wouldn't mind Brendan Fraser and Dwayne Johnson actually having more of a part than just a brief cameo. With hitters like that and a solid story wow.

Count me IN, I enjoyed the first film, but will admit it wasn't the greatest, it was mindless fun. I really like the action sequence in Paris and lot more..I'm sure Sommers would impress everyone with the sequel..

You are not the only one! I loved the movie! Made me feel like a kid again - and yes, the Snake Eyes vs. Storm Shadow element was great. Great fx too.

What a trainwreck. The movie was horrible, and there was nothing redeeming about it to justify a sequel. In a perfect world, they'd take all the money they're going to waste on this POS and put it towards making a GI Joe: Resolute weekly series.

I'm glad. To me Sommers has a style for summer movies. He may not be who people want for some films but I can say that about a lot of movies. Since I was introduced to him with The Mummy, his films since then, Mummy 2, Van Helsing, G I Joe, they've all been fun and just about what I expected.

For the sequel I want to say a bit of the same, and a bit of the new. Now that Cobra is introduced, they can go full on with the war between G.I.Joe and Cobra. One thing I definitely loved was the action. But the one thing they shouldn't do is just up the ante for the sake of it. The story has to match that rise. So for me I'd like Bigger story, Bigger action.
