I know Opinions, Opinions. Listen it was a good movie, but it wasn’t a good Superman movie. Yes superman is a God among men, I don’t really think SR captured that, if anything it was about making him more human, he was unsure of who he was and had to got away to get answers, then he comes back to some baby mama drama, Not Godlike. If your gonna spend two or more hours on a Superman movie do you really want to see the human side of him? I could live with it being part of the plot but for the most part I want to see the Blue Guy kick some ass.

And Goyer IS a director. He can improve his craft as he learns from his mistakes. JNolan has never directed, and its unlikely they would just hand over something this big because his brother is a good director (unless CNolan agreed to be on set to consult all the time)

Because Superman has always been about him living as a “God amongst men”, and that film captured that perfectly. It’s just my opinion.

You can argue “that SR had an experienced director, and that film was crap” (even though I found it to be *brilliant*). However bringing in someone who has had *no* experience in directing would be a fatal mistake. This projects needs someone who knows how to direct, not Jonathatn Nolan.
