You can “guarantee” it? You might want to look up what that means before you make such claims.

In order to guarantee something, you first have to qualify the result that happens when you are wrong about it.

Guarantee your pizza in 30 minutes means NOTHING if they dont add the “or its free” to the statement.

If the trailer is any indication of quality, I can guarantee “Green Lantern” will be a flop with a capital, “F”. Say, “goodbye” to any chance of a sequel. It’s a shame. Green Lantern was one of my favorite superheroes from childhood.

Oh…and the cgi suit looks horrible. And from reading comments from various sites, my opinion seems to be the consensus.

Yep. Van Wilder with a ring. That’s what I’m thinking. We’ll have to wait and see though.

The Lord Of The Rings was PLANNED to have three film shoot back toback from the start. Green Lantern did not. It is possible that they can hold some sets, but they can’t film 1,2 and 3 back to back. Maybe later on 2 and 3 can be shot back to back. But not now. The actors involved may have signed on for another film or two but not to shoot back to back. Let’s look at Reynolds. IF this news is true and they stick the actors in this bind…?

All Reynolds projects that he has already commited to for the next few years have just went belly up. That’s three pictures we know of, including Deadpool, waving goodbye.

Lord Of The Rings also had an epic feel in scope and promotion; it had an advantage in that the general public were familiar with the books. Green Lantern’s a great character and all, and I’m looking forward to the film and all…but not everyone knows who Green Lantern is, and with a crowding of heroes from Marvel, Dark Horse, Dc and others, it could get lost easy. I’m not saying it will or that it will stink. I’m just pointing out that the back to back idea is nice- but much more trouble thanit is worth.

School of Life and All Fall Down he played it straight.

There were also a lot of bit parts he had where he plays different roles in non-comedies. But like I said, he sells comedy so well that he doesn’t do straight dramas much at all. But he is capable.

I just really hope he isn’t Van Wilder with a Lantern Ring in this.

You need to watch more of Reynolds films. He is great at non comedy roles as well. He can play it straight when he wants to, unfortunately most people don’t want him to because his comedy is better.
