Given that this will be a live action adaptation of the film, I doubt we are going to see any lore shared from the animated dtv’s or Peter Pan himself.

This will be its own stand alone film.

And they couldn’t have picked a more attractive actress to play Tink!

There was a direct to DVD film on Tinkerbell released only a couple years ago and then a sequal to that (Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure) last year.

They were both actually pretty good (better than some films that get wide released) — my husband and I actually both quote lines from the first film because they were so memorable.

I just hope the new film respects some of the ‘lore’ that has been build up among fans of the animated films. Especially since 2 more animated films are rumored to be in production.

I was a huge fan of the Enchanted movie… but not so much of Tinkerbell or the Peter Pan universe for that matter.

Regardless, I’ll probably see it anyways.

As for McG… I don’t really care.
