I don’t care what Nolan said he intends to do (he also said he wouldn’t do more than 3 films for Batman – so we will see what happens after that when DC/WB is eager for a Justice League film) but it seems he is taking the same “make it real” approach to Superman.

When they steer th DC films (as they already said they would) to Justice League they certainly won’t be leaving Bats out.

Still doesn’t explain why they CANT co-exist just because Nolan says he won’t.

It doesn’t matter if he can or cannot, because has said (recently) that he’s gonna keep them separate.

There is enough pseudo realism going on in Batman’s world that would allow for unreal things like a flying man from Krypton.

You think that nothing “normal” can exist because he isn’t?

Amazing that in a world where Superman exists people still drive cars and have normal lives. There is NO reason to suggest that because Batman isn’t superpowered that his world doesn’t make sense just because Superman exists also.

Maybe so, but a character like Superman can’t exist in Nolan’s more realistic Batman films. Doing so would completely destroy whatever realism Nolan has created for his films.

Superheroes are ALL animated to some degree (comic books, cartoons) and are translated to real and believable characters.

So they can both make the leap from page to screen, but not at the same time? I dont see why not.

Just because it worked in an ANIMATED film, doesn’t mean it will work in a live-action film.
