I’m very excited to see it being made into a movie it’s a wish come true lol. Only worry that it won’t stay true to every topic as controversial as they may be. I’m sure Chbosky will stay true to his book at least I hope so. I keep reading how everyone is worried about Emma playing Sam, but I’m excited to see her in this role she’s a great actress I think she can pull it off. I can’t wait to hear the rest of the cast.

I feel EXACTLY the same. The movie would not do the book justice if they glossed over things. The rawness and reality of the book is what I fell in love with, and if they changed or took out any ‘controversial’ subject matter, I’d be very upset.

That being said, this is my absolute favorite book, and I am SO excited to see the movie!!! :D

Emma has the potential to be the most successful among the potter kids and has outdistanced her hp co-stars in popularity. as long as the author is true to the spirit of his original work, this is definitely a must-see film next yr

Ever since I read the book 7 years ago I’ve been dying for them to make it into a movie. The only thing is, they NEED to keep the story just the way it is, heavy issues and all or kids are going to be very pissed. I think Emma would make a good Sam, I can really see her pulling that off.

I think she’ll be fine — and it’ll serve her well to get outside of the Hermione Granger mold.
