Wow! i just saw Iron Man 2 and Wow! i wish Marvel could speed things up and give us Avengers already! Woohooo! Thor looks badass here, thats one awesome costume. I hope The Avengers is like a trilogy or something that would really kick ass!

In reply to Castle91. I agree. It does look like rubber. I think they should lose the sleeves because in most versions it's just his bare arms. Im torn over the beard. Traditonally, in the comics Thor doesnt have beard. In the mythology he does. The beard that is shown is not that bad because its noticeable but overly dominant.

He looks better that i could ever imagine.
I wasn’t realy excited about this movie, i never saw the character appealing, but the same thing happend to me with Ironman, and look him now, he is the coolest superhero in years…
So now my expectations for this movie went higher than any other superhero movie being made. So… when is the releasing date?

Super excited to see this guy play Thor. The few minutes he played DaddyKirk in Star Trek had me sold on the guy. I agree, he’s got the look down! But I’m not sold on the armor either. This dude is ripped though, he could go sleeveless.

Dude this looks awesome, you gotta remember this is before all the FX. This is looking to be going for a true to the spirit movie which is risky because all deviations become glaring but i am down for it because I view things for what they are and not what they are up against.

As far as how is being depicted in the comics currently, it’s almost an exact representation of thor and his armor. I hope they post one up of him wearing his helmet and also swing his mighty hammer around, that would be sweet!
