YES! Man this looks so good. I am so glad they went with an even darker tone this time around and Freddie’s wise cracks are just perfect.

I’m also very happy to see that they are playing even more with the whole dream thing. More as in, you can’t fall asleep and dream or your fucked, but if you don’t get sleep and dream, you’ll basically go crazy. You’ll start seeing things, dreaming while your awake. In which case, your fucked anyway. ;P

After watching this trailer, Im most definitely excited to see it now! Keeping the sarcastic remarks is the best! I cant wait to see Jackies performance. After watching Little Children, I know just how good Jackie can be at creepy. Cant Wait!

i dont like how the make up looks on him i mena the old freddy’s burn marks were great, this one looks fake.. i just hope its a good movie

I’m underwhelmed. I don’t think it looks horrible, but like a lot of other remakes, unnecessary. Still, I’ll give it a chance cause I want to see Jackie Earl Haley’s performance.

In reply to jon. I guess because it IS Rorschach. It's not like a persons voice changes much at a lower, raspy tone. I'm sure his portrayal of Freddy will overshadow any likeness to Rorschach.

I was a huge fan of the original series, am a huge fan of JEH (anybody remember him in Nemesis?) and this remake looks fantastic. Maybe a little darker, a lot of nods to the original, and a nice update to the look. (Superfan? I had the “Freddy’s Greatest Hits”, and smiled when I heard “All I have to do is dream” in the trailer.)
