Bodhi maybe died in the last seen. Falling off a wave that big does not have to kill you. So you can still bring Bodhi back. Except that Swayze is gone now (RIP). So they can still bring bodhi back and sure they can bring another actor to play Keanu roll. Chris Klein for example if they have too. The truth is yes I would love to see a part 2 but I don't think there is any way they can top the original point break and what it brought to our minds and lives unless a the screen writer and the plot is just out of this world genius. Now who could play Bodhi? Hugh Jackman maybe.

Holy Shit, dude. That is pretty detailed. Think that you should write a whole script for this movie.

Write Comment here. Before you do, review these rules:
1) Stay on topic
2) Disagree and debate, but no insulting other commenters or the author
3) off topic messages for the author should be emailed directly, not left as a comment.

Daniel your script is excelent!!
Can you imagine going to the cinema to see the movie for at least 10 times???
We have to pray for Patrick to get better...and keanu to accept performing the character again.
If all this happens, I dont know, its one of those things you say I have to watch before daying.
Bodhi is the best ever. I missed him.

We gonna jump or jerk off?!

I like your comments guys. Some interesting suggestions as to how the sequel should be done. I like them all. PB is one of the most original and wired movies i have ever seen. I have seen it like 50+ times, and can't get enough of it. My blood flows faster when i remember that skydiving scene! My opinion is, i'd love to see the PB2, and would love if Kathy did the directing. I'd definitely like to get Swayze, Reeves, Petty and Busey back, hell, John ‘SQUAT!!’ McGinley can come too :))

I would make the story to be a direct sequel of the original, pick it up 18 years later, casting original characters, opening with Pappas being retired and in the wheelchair, at some disabled veterans institution, after somehow surviving that shotgun, Utah and Tyler running a surf shop, taking care of him, and Bodhi alive and coming back to LA after 18 years, his past haunting him after the things went bad, real bad..

So, on a hot summer day, Utah hits the beach for a surf, and waits for his set. He sees a guy surfing the break, immediately drawing his attention, because the guy moves almost like Bodhi, and kinda looks like him. He stops cold, and watches him, and suddenly his heart starts to pump. He drops his surfboard, makes a beeline towards the guy and the guy starts to run. He chases him and crashes him in the water, football style, only to discover that he had seen a ghost. The guy takes off, Utah letting him go, confused, but a bit dazzled. He thinks of his buddy, his mind racing and wondering, could he have actually made it that day. Can't be. Can it?

Meanwhile, Bodhi is back, wandering the streets of LA, no money, and no place to hide, a wanted criminal, searching for redemption, bumps into some surfers and hitches a ride to his old neighborhood. He finds that thigs have changed, and the life is tough, but only thing he wants right now is a surfboard and some good waves at the old break. The surfer dudes won’t let him have any of their boards, but tell him that there’s some surfshop near by, and he should check it out.

“T&J’s boards shop and repair” is about to close and it isn’t open till 10AM next day, and Tyler is finishing up and waiting for Utah to come home so they could go out for dinner. Suddenly, the rain starts to pour and she quickly picks up the surfboards in front of the store and puts them inside, unaware of his presence. Bodhi watches her from across the street, tucked in a raincoat and a hat he had stolen on the beach, looking like a tramp. She sees him, and yells “We’re closed till 10AM tommorrow” not paying much attention, the rain pouring and the wind starting to blow. He can’t take his eyes of her and keeps looking at her, his clothes soaking wet. A police car pulls up, the officer on duty tells him that the storm is coming and he better finds himself a dump, or he’ll be spending the night downtown. He stands still, keeps looking at the store, so the officer asks him if he’s deaf and threatens to cuff him. He says “OK” and turns away and starts walking down the alley, the annoyed cop closes the window and slowly drives away. But Bodhi turns back and comes to have another look and see if that was really her. It catches Tyler’s attention and she looks through the window at the still figure across the street. Their eyes meet and he quickly looks down, lowering the hat over his face. Tyler grabs hold of the counter, her heart sinks in disbelief, her face pale and eyes wide open, not sure if she saw what she thinks she saw. Suddenly a bus stops, and the man across the street enters it. He sits next to the window and looks at her again. She lets go of the counter, walks to the door and slowly opens it, stepping outside staring at him in shock. The bus starts to roll, and Bodhi turns his head away, in fear that she might recognize him.

In that moment Utah pulls up with his pickup truck, his surfboard sticking out, wondering what the hell is Tyler doing standing on the street in the middle of the pouring rain. He comes to her and sees her face and asks “What happened, what is it”, gently putting his shirt over her, trying to take her inside. “Tyler what happened, whats the matter, whats wrong?” he asks and she says “I think i just saw him, Johnny”, “I think I saw him..” “What? What are you talking about, who did you see baby, tell me?” “I think I saw Bodhi…”

My favorite movie ever! First time I saw Point Break, I was around 12 or so. Back then I just thought it was a ok movie, I didn't think anything of it. But now that I've watched it again, I think its an amazing movie. Spectacular and adrenaline rushing action to say the least. It has a meaning to it as well. The meaning is different from person to person.

Eh, I think there is no need for a sequel. Its hard for sequels to surpass the originals imo. To even equal the level of intensity of the first will be difficult.

Kinda like The Fast & Furious franchise. It seems the first one's excitement hasn't been recreated in the sequels, so to speak but thats my opinion.

Even if Point Break 2 doesn't do well, I will still go see it with an open mind and not make comparisons to the first. And if its equally as good or way better, that would be sweet.

First of all I think you cannt titile the movie "Point Break Indo" if the real ond only bodhisattva is on screen. I mean, we are talking about someone that once said "If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love". Secondly, Johnny Utah should appear too, who can ever forget him saying "vaya con dios", understanding bodhis way and sense of life. Please, you two gays do it for all the people in the world like me, If everything of this happens I dont surf at all, but I will be going to the cinema with a surf table. Lastly, Mark Isham must perform the music, what he did, 20 years ago, please, everyone must congratulate him. Im from Argentina and Im just 22 years old.
