    opening 45 minutes as fluff? i care about these characters and felt the tension BECAUSE of the time spent on those scenes. John, none of those minutes were wasted. i think you’re just way too impatient.

  2. I wasn’t that keen on going to see King Kong but I was in Berger King here in the UK and ordered the Kong Whopper and it was very nice so I went to see the film and despite a sore butt it was very good.

    The intro song makes a welcome change to the usual funky techno track so keep up the good work but do keep the profanity down or give each pod cast it a rating so I know what I am in for when I play it while my parents are around.

  3. John your thoughts on Kong pretty well line up with mine. The middle action piece is unbelievable. I did find it too long and over the top after the point.

    BTW, did anyone suffer vertigo during the finale? I am not a height fan to begin with so this one kept me on the edge of my seat.

    I also agree with you on the Batman villians – one per movie please.
