I just wanted to throw out that i really enjoyed Anthony Hopkins’ acting in Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Sure, it was far from a perfect movie, but i think Hopkins was phenominal in it as the crazy/drunk/crazy vampire hunter Professor Van Helsing

Anthony Hopkins: his performance in Amistad, you know the scene at the end in the court room? He is laying down a defence for the African captives, and throughout this amazing performance, he lapses occassionally into a state of brief senile dementia. He deserved an Oscar for that unbelievable scene alone.
Also who won the bet on ‘Dirty Love’, you had a dollar bet if I remember rightly!!!!!!
I only downloaded one such audio edition. I don’t think I will ever download and hear another one. Most of the times I browse the site while at work. Listening to audioblogs is out of the question. Also, navigating through the text is a lot easier.
Just thought I should let you know :)
Thoughts:
1) The film with Ray Liotta was called “Unlawful Entry”. His co-stars was Kurt Russell and Madeline Stowe. Other gems include “Something Wild”, “Narc” and “Dominic and Eugene”.
He also did a great, great job on a recent guest appearance on “ER”.
2) Best Anothy Hopkins gilm for me: “The Bounty” with Mel Gibson and Liam Neeson.
Worst: Red Dragon- compared to Brian Cox’s Lecter in “Manhunter” anyway. But then again Ratner’s film stunk overall.
3) The Beverley Hllls Cop films. They may have starred Eddie Murphy, hey may have had Bronson Pichot as Serge. They may have had Paul Rieser. Did I think these were “comedies”? Bullshit. What were #26 and #27? “Ghostbusters” is a comedy. “Caddyshack” is a comedy. Where’s “Airplane!”? “City Slickers”? “The Blues Brothers”, dammit! At least “Stripes” made the cut. That’s The Fact, Jack. But there’s an absense of Peter Sellers: “Pink Panther”. Some might even argue “Dr. Strangelove”.
4) Quick! Who was the lead actress in Halloween!
