THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN:

One of my personal favorite suspense mystery thriller of 2016. Based on the wildly popular book of the same title, the movie version is just as satisfactory. Emily Blunt is Oscar worthy in the role of Rachel. She might play the best alcoholic I’ve ever seen on screen. The cast is well rounded with the likes of Justin Theroux, Rebecca Ferguson and Haley Bennett. If you haven’t read the book, the movie will keep you guessing till the very end. The twist and turns are executed tremendously. There are multiple stories to follow, but the film is well organized and easy to follow. Fans of the book should be proud of the movie. Girl on the Train was reminiscent to me of another one of my all-time favorites, Gone Girl. This is a can’t miss movie.
