THE HANDMAIDEN:

The Handmaiden is a stellar film from Park Chan-wook. It’s set in 1930’s Korea and the story deals with romance and deception. The movie is so well put together stylistically and visually impressive with the slick camera work. The actors might be unknowns to many, but they do very good work. This is one of the best foreign films of the year, no question. Fans of Chan-wook will most definitely enjoy this one, but others will undoubtedly appreciate it. There is a little bit of everything in the movie, from romance to suspense.

The Handmaiden is out now on DVD and Digital HD
