I’ve checked out all of the footage made public for the upcoming Avengers film and I have to admit that I’m not as impressed as I’d hoped. It’s not that anything released is “bad” but rather that competition has stiffened since the Avengers first broke box office records and the climate has changed significantly. That being said I haven’t been all that thrilled for another Quicksilver and as a comic fan who primarily read Spider-Man and the X-men I find little to no excitement about the addition of The Vision or the troublesome twins. This trailer changes things a bit. Aside from the depressing angst offered in other videos this one brings something that helped make the first film a massive success: humor HEART.
