I’d been watching the Man of Steel casting closely and an interesting omission, that’s sure to set the internet afire, is the lack of Jimmy Olsen casting for the film. Now although there’s no official casting for a JIMMY Olsen, it appears that you internet sleuths have sniffed out casting for a JENNY Olsen over on the IMDB page for actress Rebecca Buller.
Also, the trailer for Man of Steel had Laurence Fishburne’s race swapped Perry White running with Buller as if she’s a Daily Planet employee:
So, did Jimmy Olsen undergo a gender change in this film or is this a completely different character than we’d seen before? Re-watch the trailer and let me know what you think in the comments:

Perry White is black and Jimmy Olsen is Jenny Olsen… don’t make me no nevermind so long as it helps the story…
I guess you can consider this a different take on the Lore of Superman. I am not upset with a change I am just anticipating this movie more than anything this year.
