Agreed - but I still think they need to explain a little more to really show WHY they have taken this spin on it. But I'm sure they will in the future.

I agree I was a little disappointed with the amount of CGI, part of the beauty of Victor Fleming's Oz was the sets. However, the trailer did make me excited to see the film

I completely agree with you dRadnev. When I saw the trailer all I could think was, "Oh God, NO!! Not another Alice in Wonderland CGI fest!"It's just too much. Visually as I watched the trailer all I could see were the environments and not the actors or even the special effects. It all just melted together into a big visual mess. Hope I'm wrong but I sat there and cringed through the ENTIRE alice in Wonderland movie and I'm afraid to waste my money seeing this in a theatre if it's going to be similar.

In my opinion - too much CGI. They should use it only as a tool and only when it is absolutely necessary, not in every mthrfckng scene that is in the movie. Let's hope I'm wrong and the movie is good!
