Trailer: Ben Affleck’s “Argo”

The trailer for Ben Affleck’s new film Argo is now available for your viewing pleasure. It’s based on a true story about a real life CIA Hostage situation where they were able to infiltrate the area by posing as a film staff producing a sci-fi film. For you fanboys out there, the real story involved Jack Kirby but unfortunately I don’t see his character being portrayed in this film. Take a look at the trailer below.

I think directing could be Ben Affleck’s Hollywood forte. I loved The Town and he gave a great performance in the film. I think as long as he’s behind the camera, he’ll do well in front of the camera because he obviously knows his role. I think the film looks entertaining and the “true story” factor is always appealing because I personally always want to research the story before seeing the film which builds it up for me.

About Ryan

First and foremost, Ryan Brown is a fan. He has been an avid fan of both the theater and cinema since an early age and his passion for both has been continually growing ever since. When dissecting a film, he focuses on all elements of film-making including some fan/cult factors. He believes that character development is the foundation of a good film and usually starts his analysis of a film from there moving forward. His writing style may be influenced by his background of narrative and argumentative studies in the subject, but he tends to enjoy a more conversational style to better interact with the readers, unlike some other pretentious and pompous writers.
