I didn’t see “Boy-A” but I saw the Social Network and didn’t think he was nearly introverted enough to give me “Puny Parker” vibes.

having said that, the trailer shall make me decide whether i think im looking forward to it or not. for now; im supper psyched merely because im a HUGE nerd.

At best, Green Lantern will be watchable, if forgettable, popcorn fun. At best, Spiderman may actually improve upon Raimi’s movies with a better female lead and using real stunts for effect shots, making it look realer. At worst, Green Lantern could be absolutely horrible — while at worst, this new Spiderman can only suffer from an ‘origin movie’ feel if they bog it down with him becoming Spiderman, but even then I doubt it would be a “bad” movie.

How radical a change is an opinion that may vary from person to person.

This post is purely meant to critique the look of the character/costume, and I’m sure a review will pop up on the site covering the story, characters, action, etc. after the film is released.

I doubt the look/design of the costume will have a strong impact on the quality of film. I had these same reservations walking into the X-men flicks with their black leather costumes. So far I just don’t like it compared to the original costume, but it’s still leaps and bounds better than the red and gold costume Spidey wore for a while.

Yeah, I don’t get why so many people are making a big deal out of the look of the suit. It is NOT that radical of a change. Its no like they reversed the color scheme or anything. Heck, the Batman suit in Nolan’s films doesn’t comport that well to the suit in the comics.

People should be less worried about the look of the suit, and more worried about whether the story, characters, and action are gonna be good. I think a bigger concern is whether Marc Webb can do an action movie.

I don’t think fans are concerned about whether he can play a dweeb or not. I believe they are concerned whether he can play wise-cracking SPIDEY or not. IMO, both Tobey and Garfield are capable of playing nerds. In Tobey’s case, he never could capture wise-cracking Spidey. It remains to be seen if Garfield can.

Toby McGuire made me believe in Spidey with his first movie, lets see if Garfield can do the same!

It’s a movie about a superhero, of course it’s gonna look silly while they shoot the action-scenes! It’s to early to judge!
