Certainly, a great time to be a ‘fan boy.’ This, Thor and Captain America all look quite excellent — and while I have little expectation for Green Lantern to be anything spectacular, I think it’ll at least be good popcorn fun. The best news after that is the fact that next year won’t be any worse, with Batman, Spiderman and Avengers next up, and all of them at least show promise to be quite good.

This is simply awesome. I’d like to see this go on for 3 to 5 more flicks. I like the tension between Xavier and Magneto played out in this trailer.

Did anyone else notice the phrasing on the top of the crest at the end of the trailer. It says “Xavier’s School For Gifted Youngsters”.

Was that really the phrasing from the comic? I’m not hugely familiar with the XMEN comic series, but I think the word “Youngsters” just sounds wrong. Like a typo or something. I would think “Youths” would be more correct.

Anyone?

Totally agree! This is the best summer ever for comic book fans. We get Thor, Green Latern, X-men and Captain America all in the same summer. I don’t care how they do in the theater, they are all going in my DVD collection. Can’t wait for May 6 to kick things off.
