I love how they are tying the films together with these subtle canon references.
And Cap does throw the shield! Hell ya.

Wow, I was never into Captain America but this looks like a lot of fun! I told my boyfriend it looked better than Thor, he was shocked and offended. But comic book movies are the only thing we’ll agree on to go see! From the trailer, I really like the design style of the 40s, and Chris Evans seems like the perfect choice to play Captain America. I might actually go see this in theaters!
This looks so much better than Thor.
My only reservation comes from the fact that there was another Captain America film made back in 1990 that looked very similar in the trailers, but turned out to be total rubbish. I don’t even think it got a proper theatrical release.
I’d like to see the “Civil War”-oriented Captain America in the Avengers movie.
This looks action packed. Can’t wait to see this one!!

Not a fan of Capt, but I am now. Brilliant looking trailer, the transformation of Chris Evans into the bulked up Steve Rodgers(?) is awesome.

Now I have to say this does amp me up quite a bit! and for all my crap throwing/second guessing at the Director. Looks like he nailed the tone/look/excitement.

I don’t feel anything for this trailer. It doesn’t excite me. Maybe I’ll change my mind when I see the entire film. I’d rather watch Cap in the present day, going mano y mano with Crossbones or Winter Soldier or the current Red Skull . But the early 1940s doesn’t excite me.
there’s gotta be the origin story first, bro. Then we’ll see him present day in The Avengers movie.

I say cliffhanger at end (just like the classic storyline) with buckey and cap (slight change possible?) falling in cold water and gettin’ frozen seperatly.
fast forward to avengers (possible easter egg scene at end) on shield battleship pulling his frozen body out of water (motherload of easter eggs baby! w/ Ironman in suit helping!)

after the 1st act would be rushing it too much. I actually think the 1st hour is all Skinny Rodgers at mid-way we get the transformation followed by maybee 2 1/2 actions scenes then credits roll.
Wow. In Sweden where I live Cap dosn’t really exist so I don’t know much about it. I have only seen the old old old series from the 50-60’s(?) and I have always thought this could only work with a America crowd but this looks really really good.
I kinda has that feel to it that iron-man 1 had so I’m all in on this one.

Love the stark tie-in and the foreshadowing of the shield when puny rogers is holding the trash can lid. Awesome trailer, awesome pecs.
So it looks like that is Tony’s Grandfather who is helping with the Super Soldier program, pretty sweet. Also I saw a guy there with a bowler hat and mustache, could that be a reference to Sheild Agent Dum Dum Dugan and also the Howling Commando’s?

Captain America is my favorite comic character when done correctly and it looks like they have done this correctly. They made the right choice in Chris Evans. I think he hits Steve spot on. Great trailer, July can’t come soon enough.
